Allison A. Waase
Counsel
Allison Waase is counsel in Coffey Modica O’Meara’s White Plains office. She represents a wide variety of clients in complex civil litigation matters, from the pre-litigation investigation phase through discovery, motion practice and trial. Allison has served as second seat in a personal injury matter that resulted in a defense verdict.
Overview
With over a decade of practice focused on insurance defense, Allison counsels the largest insurers and excess insurers on complex, high-exposure general and premises liability, products liability and New York Labor Law matters.
Allison regularly defends insurers and their insureds, including, business owners, building owners, and management companies in negligent security, premises liability and assault and battery lawsuits. Additionally, she represents owners/developers, general contractors and subcontractors in personal injury and property damage suits arising out of construction defect claims, violations of New York Labor Law, and negligence.
In addition to handling premises and product liability and New York Labor Law cases, Allison has developed a keen focus on fire and explosion personal injury and property damage matters. As a result, she has an acute understanding of these cases, including the complex science behind them, how to investigate them, accurately calculate damages, retain appropriate experts, and identify key witnesses.
