Samuel Newman

Associate

Samuel Newman serves as an associate for Coffey Modica O’Meara’s litigation/appellate strategy and consulting group, operating out of the firm’s Buffalo office.  Sam wields a combination of persuasive writing and financial sophistication, honed through his prior work in tax certiorari, to counsel and defend clients in high-stakes litigation.

 

Overview

Sam learned New York appellate practice while working as a law clerk for Justice Eugene Fahey of the New York State Court of Appeals, and this experience combined with his extensive exposure to administrative proceedings have made him a formidable appellate advocate.  Sam grasps complex issues quickly and uses his broad and varied experience to find effective solutions. 

Sam previously served as a law clerk for a variety of practice groups across Western and Upstate New York. He is also on the panel of Assigned Counsel Program of the Bar Association of Erie Country.
